Hey…Bradley Waldrop here. I just wanted to drop in and let you know that it really is possible to take an idea that starts as a hair-brained scheme and make it happen – no matter the distance between the players. And, I thought I’d use this message to lay out the challenge that was in front of us and how we decided to get through it:
Challenge 1: Own your Own Media Channel
We decided we were going to lay it all out there…share our trials, tribulations, and our successes in business. So, if you’re an entrepreneur and interested in watching two guys fall flat on their faces or bumping into wall after wall as they scramble to succeed, then this is for you!
Challenge 2: Record a Podcast Separated By 5,245 Miles
Do a little online investigation and you realize that Skype is the “just right” solution to recording calls across the world. This means you get the benefit of sound quality, realtime interaction and the ease of live recording which limits that effort needed to make it all happen.
Challenge 3: Getting On The Same Page About What Needs Done
Yep, you guessed it, we have lives too! Both Simon and I have commitments everyday of the week. And, when it comes to putting together a cohesive podcast, it takes communication! We chose to use Trello and Slack as a way to manage the effort and keep us connected. Well, let’s be honest.. “we” didn’t choose. I said that we should use it and Simon was kind enough to pick up the tools and start using them. These silicon-valley tools help us keep it straight, even when we’re in completely different time zones.
Challenge 4: Honor Each Other’s Businesses Aspirations While Podcasts
It’s no secret that Simon’s as huge fan of simple, effective and proven digital business models. That’s why he’s developed http://www.getyourplrproducts.com and http://www.theconceptmembership.com. These are both rock-solid resources that give you the fastest and easiest way to start making sales online right now.
It’s also no secret that I have a Monday-Friday job leading a team that generates just under $11M annually. And, I have a passion for helping people take their businesses digital and scaling up to build multi-generational assets. This means that I focus on what you can do today in your business to fortify the foundation and leverage technology to get your life back. I also happen to lead the A/E/C industry in copywriting with over $350M sold in professional services. So… if you’re looking for operational, leadership and sales help in B2B, professional services and local businesses, then you’ll want to drop by https://DigitalMainStreetMedia.com and https://AECProfessionalMatters.com.
So…we’ve decided to tackle business basics here and we’ll be giving you individual help along the way!
Talk soon,
-bradley (and Simon vicariously)
