Things To Keep Straight for Email Solo Ad Campaigns

Monitor your progress and stick to the tools and techniques we discussed in “Is The Wrong Kind of Internet Traffic Killing Your Business“.

Communicate, communicate, communicate! If your provider isn’t hitting the mark, then talk to them to work it out.

Use tools like (Clickopedia) to keep everyone honest.

The Things We Got Right With Our Email Solo Ad Campaign

If you didn’t get a chance to listen to the episode and you’re just looking for a quick bullet point list of what we got right, you’re in the right place.  Here goes:

  1. We put tracking in place that told us the origin of traffic, the conversion rate, the speed of clicks, the unique clicks, and the source of the traffic (the vendor).
  2. We maintain an active list of vendors that produce for us and we’re not afraid to rely on the testing we’ve done to date to test any new source of traffic
  3. We craft offers that real traffic can’t ignore.  In fact, we strive to always put up offers that our target market will crawl through broken glass to get to.
  4. We aren’t afraid to say that we get it wrong sometimes.

The Things We Got Wrong With This Ad Too!

Look! I can’t claim to always get it right.  And, in this episode you’re going to hear what happens when an offer sounds too good to be true.  In fact, you’re going to hear how we got duped by the sales page.  And, this simply proves that we’re human and the psychological tricks of social proof are so strong in us, that even seasoned veterans sometimes fall into the traps laid by good copy.
